On Wednesday, June 8th 2005, The men in uniform passing for the
German Police brutally and extra-judicially executed Mr. Larry
Williams, an 18 year old refugee from Cameroon. The incident took
place about 800m from the Düsseldorf main train station. An eye
witness alledge that Mr. Laary was first hit by the police car before
being strangle to death by six armed police men. The Police claim
they were trying to save the life of Mr. Larry by stopping him
swallowing cocain he was carrying in his mouth. Members of The Voice
NR held a peaceful demonstration on friday June 10th, demanding an
answer for this act of bestiality.
In the past four months, three refugees from Africa have died in the hands
of the German police. Who claims Abu Ghraib or Guantanamo are torture
chambers. The Voice NRW is planning another action to coincide with the
International Day of the Refugee than comes up in a couple of weeks.
